Find the bottleneck
Start with one real process. Work out where time is being wasted, where mistakes happen, and what good would look like.
AI is the new electricity ... and Curbar AI is a 21st Century electrician.
We wire AI into the highest-value parts of a business so it does useful, accurate commercial work.

Start small. Work on a real bottleneck. Keep the human in the loop where it matters.

Build one small system around that job. Keep it narrow, reviewable, and easy to test with real material.
Keep the parts that save time or improve quality. Change the rest before it turns into software theatre.
A few of the problems Curbar is currently building around.
Review candidate-role fit, separate strong options from maybes and rejects, and keep the reasons visible.
Score a manual workflow, compare realistic AI options, and decide whether to buy, build, or defer.
Draft, pressure-test, and score important written work from more than one line of attack.
Build timelines, track evidence back to source, and keep human review in the loop for sensitive material.
A founder-led practice built around careful engineering, clear thinking, and useful software.
Former Formula One aerodynamicist and engineer now building bespoke AI systems for expert teams.
Tom Walker is an engineer and founder with experience across aerodynamics, optimisation, reinforcement learning, and recent LLM-era evaluation and tooling.
Before Curbar, he worked in Formula One aerodynamics, founded and led a decision-support startup, and built AI tooling in consulting and product settings. The common thread is analytical rigour, careful workflow design, and a bias toward systems that do useful work rather than merely sounding clever.
If there is a slow, messy, or high-stakes part of the job that keeps coming back, that is usually the right place to start.
